What Wardrobe keeps about you, why, and what you can do about it. Version 2026-10-21.
What we keep, and why
- Your account: your email address, and your name and picture if you sign in with Google. Needed to sign you in.
- Your plan: piece statuses and notes, saved outfits, product links, homes, survey answers and notes on your brief. Needed to run the planner for you.
- Your body data, only with your consent: measurements, how your figure looks, and photos of your pieces. Used only to draw outfits on a figure like you. They’re encrypted by the app before they’re stored, on top of our providers’ own encryption.
- Security records: for each signed-in session, its IP address and browser, kept until the session ends (at most 30 days); and short-lived counters that stop abuse of sign-in and lookups.
We don’t sell your data, share it for advertising, or use analytics or tracking cookies. The only cookie is the one that keeps you signed in.
Who processes it
- Vercel (hosting, photo storage, logs) and Neon (the database), in the United States (Oregon).
- Resend sends sign-in emails: it receives your email address.
- Google, only if you choose to sign in with Google.
- Open-Meteo receives a home’s location rounded to about 11 km, with nothing that identifies you, to look up its climate.
- Shops: when you save a product link, our server reads that page. Product pictures load from the shop’s site, which can see your IP address.
Each provider processes data under its own data processing terms, including standard contractual clauses for transfers from the EU and UK.
How long we keep it
- Until you delete it or your account. Deleting is immediate in the app.
- Encrypted backups are kept for 30 days, so deleted data is gone from them within 30 days.
- Sign-in links expire after 5 minutes.
Your rights
- Download everything you’ve entered, with your photos, from your Account page.
- Withdraw consent for body data at any time on the Account page: your measurements, look and photos are deleted at once, and the rest of your account stays.
- Delete your account and everything in it on the Account page.
- Correct anything by editing it in the app.
